Camino Del Cerro Remodel

Whole House Remodel

Our clients purchased this home and remodeled it for themselves. The house was built in 1983 and had not been updated much since then. While most of it was in great condition, with pride of ownership shining through, it definitely needed some modern upgrades. A remodel was very much wanted.

The Kitchen Remodel

These are the BEFORE pics! Notice the soffit coming from the hallway and across the island. We removed that to open up the area. We also installed LED recessed lighting throughout the house, except for the bedrooms. In addition we installed two skylights, a 2ft x 4ft in the kitchen (as seen below) and a 2ft x 2ft in the master bath.

Inspired Renovations and Remodels

Here are pics of the actual demolition and remodel. As you can see, we did some fairly extensive work on the kitchen area. You may notice the new air ducts, the skylight and the new pantry entry.

The Dining Area

We transformed the old sliding glass door to a new three panel Sliding glass door and replaced the old small window with a 6ft x 4 ft picture window. These changes really opened up the space and allows for a great view of the mountains. Priceless!

The Living Room Area

The living room needed a fireplace, so we build out a fireplace faced, tiled it with large tile and installed an electric fireplace. It turned out absolutely fantastic!

The Pantry

There was an old 3/4 closet that housed the hot water heater and an old non-working HVAC located in the living room, next to the kitchen. our clients wanted to use that space for the pantry, so we moved the hot water heater to the garage, disposed of the HVAC, closed up that closet and created a door on the kitchen side instead. We had custom cabinets installed to make a very functional walk in closet.

The Family Room

We installed recessed lighting and an LED fan, replaced shutters with blinds and the carpet with tile and then painted. Simple, yet quite a transformation!

The Master Bath

This is an impressive transformation! Since we were able to eliminate the old, small pantry, we were then able to use that space in the master bathroom and install an 8 ft. vanity. We also eliminated the wall separating the toilet from the rest of the space, removed the old bath tub and installed a large walk in shower!

The Walk In Closet

The walk in closet was initially small, but largely due to the use of space. The entry was an open space from the bathroom. To create more space in the walk in closet we closed up the entry from the bathroom, opened up an entry from the bedroom and added custom cabinets to maximize the space. It turned out amazing!

The Guest Bath

The guest bath also needed updating. We removed the old tile, tub, toilet and vanity and started from scratch with a new soaker tub, a new vanity with quartz countertop, and a contemporary glass slider on the tub. Nice work!

The Floors

There was initially carpet and old tile throughout the house. We removed all of it and started fresh with new tile throughout, including tile baseboards! It turned out very nice!
